I was born and raised in Brazil, in the city of Recife. At the age of 6 I moved to Maceió, another city from Brazilian's sunny coast. Growing up near the sea inspire me to take my first photographs with my second hand Yashica fx-3.
I always believed that knowledge is up to you. If you put enough effort you can learn anything you want. So I learned to use Corel Draw, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and other related programs and started doing some projects for friends and colleagues at school. After graduating I decided to enroll In an Advertising college (Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica - CEFET), where I graduated in 2005.
I continued studying and enhancing my skills until that knowledge help me get my first job. I was hired by the local public TV network in Alagoas to work on tv shows openings, promo videos and post production for shows broadcasted by them.
After working there for 9 years I was hired by the State University of Alagoas to develop videos for mute and def students. I can say that was one my most rewarding experiences, because I got to learn a lot about people who were born that way and how amazing and unique the sign language is.
In 2016 I decided that I wanted to experience a new environment and renew my life goals. So I came to Vancouver to start over, to explore and learn. And here I am, ready for what is coming next.
